Aaron.pngAre you an active family that enjoys sports?Let me introduce Aaron.  Aaron loves football and basketball, and most recently baseball, too.   He also enjoys  watching sports and movies on TV and playing video games.  He likes to be active and enjoys camping and being outdoors.  But he also appreciates quiet times to just be with family members.

Aaron has experienced a difficult past of disappointment, neglect, and abuse.  He is in need of a permanent family to help make new memories to replace some of the unhappy ones of his past.  Aaron requires a lot of parental supervision and support and would benefit from a highly structured, yet active home.  Although Aaron has recently made great strides academically, he may also need additional help from parents with school work.  Aaron  may likely struggle building strong and trusting attachments to adults.  He will need parents who are very committed for the long term to help him bond and adjust, as well as parents who will help facilitate his current mental health treatment.  Aaron also has an older brother that he would like to remain in contact with so he will need parents willing to help maintain this relationship.

Michael.png"Hello, my name is Michael.”  “I would like a family who lives some place where I can have lots of animals. “  “I like fish, dogs,  and especially horses – but no cats, because I’m allergic.”  “I like lizards but no snakes.”

Michael longs for a family to call his own.  He would enjoy living in the country where he can spend time with animals.  Michael shows great patience and love towards dogs and admires many other animals.  Michael also has a great sense of humor.  He enjoys music and watching movies.  He has some great dance moves!  Michael is an extremely active young man and requires constant supervision to help keep himself and others around him safe. Michael would do well in a family where he is the only child.  He can become quite jealous of other children and their belongings.  It will take a lot of time and understanding for Michael to be able to step down from his current residential setting and transition into a foster or adoptive family.  Michael has had an extensive history of abuse and neglect and he currently exhibits some challenging behaviors as a result.  But Michael hopes for a family that will give him a chance to finally have a forever home.

Dominic.pngAre you an active family that enjoys sports?  Let me introduce Dominic.  Dominic loves football and basketball.  He also enjoys  watching sports and movies on TV and playing video games.  But he also appreciates quiet times to just be with family members.

Dominic has experienced a difficult past of disappointment, neglect, and abuse.  He is in need of a permanent family to help make new memories to replace some of the unhappy ones of his past.  Dominic requires a lot of parental supervision and support and would benefit from a highly structured, yet active home.  Dominic should not be placed in a home with younger children or other children that could easily be manipulated.  He may also need additional help from parents with school work.  Dominic  may likely struggle building strong and trusting attachments to adults.  He will need parents who are very committed for the long term to help him bond and adjust, as well as parents who will help facilitate his current mental health treatment.  Dominic also has a younger brother that he would like to remain in contact with so he will need parents willing to help maintain this relationship.

Katelyn.pngMadison County Children Services is currently recruiting for adoptive families interested in  Katelyn.  Katelyn is a 14 year old  teenager in need of a forever family to help her transition into adulthood.  With the help of the right family, Katelyn  has a positive future ahead of her.  Katelyn would like a family where her parent (s) are “talkers” and good communicators.  She would like to live in a city where she can shop and hang out with friends.  She has dreams of being a cheerleader,  trying out for basketball, and being able to experience life as a normal, happy teenager with a family to call her own.
